Prints!

So after much research into printers, I finally found one that offers the quality that I am looking for in the price range that I had. I now am able to offer prints of my work in my shop. And so without further ado, to celebrate this momentous occasion, I am having a contest to celebrate! In order to enter this contest, you must comment in this post about an Etsy artist you really like. I will put all the entries in a bowl, and have my lovely assistant, Maya choose the winner. The winning print is an ACEO of "Gretchen". Good luck, my wonderful readers!

One of my favorite Etsy artists is AussiePatches. I think her unique art and illustrations catch my eye because I can see a little bit of real people in my life in her work...it's captivating!

I have a Esty/blog crush on Junkyard Sam. He has wonderfully fantastic art (in the true sense of fantastic) that at the same time has a striking element of raw humanity. I always feel like I'm reading someone's diary when I look at his work.

This is my current favorite. http://s62.photobucket.com/albums/h94/brettski5150/?action=view¤t=PICT3511.jpg

Ok..so after much debate, and deciding, I have picked one...yes one...of my favorite Etsy artists.

Michelle Moode!

This is a hard decision, because there are so many talented Etsy Artists...

Her shop is http://www.michellemoode.etsy.com

I love her work. Her colors are soft and rich and she uses elements such as sewing, safety pins, and tea bags. Yes...she prints on tea bags, and I cannot tell you how much I love that idea.

You can check out her blog too :)

Oooh...Tough question! I have so many favorite Etsy artists. I think my *favorite* is ohmycavalier. I love the delicacy of her drawings and prints. They have a wonderfully fragile and ethereal quality about them.

Well, I'm kinda new to Etsy and still discovering all the amazing artists on there.
This is how I got to know your work, which I really really love. The pin-up painting you did is so great, that I'll keep on the lookout for other stuff you do with the theme.

Besides your work, my favorite etsy favorite at the moment is the Mincing Mockingbird

I love to paint the nude myself and really admire Jamie Ribisi's nude ink paintings.

I could never pick a favorite because I have a seasonal art disorder. In the spring I like to buy paintings of fruit and flowers. In summer, I go on a people kick. Fall brings wildlife and nature, and in winter I like dark, moody and funky.
I love your art that's for certain!
I spend way too much on art and I like to rotate the paintings I own all throughout the house. My favorite painting that never gets moved is of an apple. Everybody loves my apple :)
