The state of affairs

So I have a list of things I need to do today, which doesn't nearly include everything I need to do, but it is a start! I thought I would share it with you.

I have so far finished one of the things on my list, and will start the rest soon, but meanwhile I got myself a treasury.

I also found out that Red Otter has given me an E for Excellent blog award. Yippee! Thanks Red Otter and I am passing on the award to A Muted Palette, How To Draw A Cup Of Coffee, and A Mincing Mockingbird. Because they are my favorite blogs to read. (Red Otter would also get one, but she already has one!)

Woweee!!! Yay!!!!

I don't think I've ever received an award before. Maybe in elementary school, but certainly not since.

Thank you! I'm so flattered, especially to know that my blog is one of your faves. How incredibly validating!

Does this mean I can use that logo on my blog, so everyone will know how excellent I am? :)

Hey, I looooove your Treasury! It's so cool and beautiful and thoughtful; you really captured a wistful mood. Definitely has your touch! I'm hoping it makes the front page.

Did you ever figure out the front page mystery?

Thank you again! What a wonderful surprise!

The best cure-all for crankiness is ice cream :) Have a big bowl of it. Or a whole pint. mmm...ice cream...

I'm so intrigued by the "paint a pinup girl!" I see brush strokes and vivid color all over a live woman for some reason :)

Fantastic Treasury!
