Give it away now

Hey all, I was having a hard time thinking of something to blog about. So I thought I would do a give away. You know I never thought I would be the type to blog, or twitter or do any sort of "social networking" stuff. Heck I used to sneer at cell phones. Well, technology and the internets slowly seeped into my life and now I depend on it to make a living. I like it though, I have made some great friends, and I love the fact that everyday I see others create beautiful things. Well I digress. As I said I thought I would have a give away on my blog and since I now "twitter" I asked some of my "followers" if anyone would be willing to share their pretties with my readers. And luckily for you teamzvonik was gracious enough to offer her cute S.W.A.K. magnets made of recycled paper pulp!

Here is how you could be the lucky winner:

1. Go to
teamzvonik's shop, and take a look around.

2. Come back here and leave a comment on my blog telling me which item is your favorite in her shop.

3. Extra entry if you either blog or twitter about my give away.

Thats it!

Hi Susan! I love giveaways and I love your blog (and your art!) so I'm excited to enter your contest.

That was fun to look around teamzvonik's shop. Great concept, and really neat execution. My favorite would be the I Touched Roses magnets. Not only because I love the way they came out, but also big props for referencing a great classic New Wave song by Book of Love. You go, teamzvonik!

I will also happily retweet as soon as I finish a few errands. But wanted to post right away!

Thanks so much Susan! I appreciate being a part of your blogging efforts and am happy to help promote your work too. You are very talented and I'm glad I met you on twitter. I never thought I would do this kind of stuff either, but I like it!

Thanks Diana! Glad you like my music reference- I love that song. I checked out your site too- beautiful work.

Kendra is such an amazing person, and she makes the coolest things out of junk mail. I've got two sets of her eco magnets on the way already - if I'm chosen, feel free to defer to another lucky winner to spread the love.

I LOVE the idea of turning junkmail and other paper "garbage" into beautiful and functional art. I think that the paper panels would be fabulous for mixed media/altered art http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=21567555
